Gilco Safety & Training delivers professional occupational safety training designed for today's general industry workforce. Every Gilco instructor holds OSHA-authorized credentials through the University of Texas at Arlington. OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 courses are taught by OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainers, while all other OSHA safety courses are instructed by OSHA Authorized Instructors. OSHA 10 Hour for General Industry
The OSHA 10-Hour General Industry course provides employees with a practical understanding of workplace hazards, OSHA standards, and proven safety practices that help prevent injuries and illnesses. Through engaging instruction, real-world case studies, interactive discussions, and practical exercises, participants learn how OSHA regulations apply to their workplace, what steps are necessary to achieve compliance, and the documentation and training required under applicable OSHA standards. Students leave with knowledge they can apply immediately to create a safer workplace while supporting their organization's compliance efforts. Successful graduates receive an official OSHA 10-Hour Department of Labor Outreach card and a Gilco Safety & Training Certificate of Completion. OSHA 10 Hour for General Industry (Air Force)
The OSHA 10-Hour General Industry for Air Force Personnel course is designed specifically for Air Force military members and civilian employees who work in general industry environments. Participants gain a practical understanding of workplace hazards, OSHA standards, and Air Force safety requirements that help prevent injuries and illnesses. Instruction is based on OSHA 29 CFR 1910 General Industry standards and DAFMAN 91-203, Air Force Occupational Safety, Fire and Health Standards, providing students with the knowledge they can apply immediately to create a safer workplace while supporting their organization's compliance efforts. Successful graduates receive an official OSHA 10-Hour Department of Labor Outreach card and a Gilco Safety & Training Certificate of Completion. Fall Protection for General Industry
The Fall Protection for General Industry course provides employees and supervisors with a practical understanding of fall hazards, OSHA fall protection requirements, and proven methods for preventing fall-related injuries and fatalities. Through engaging instruction, real-world case studies, interactive discussions, and practical exercises, participants learn how to recognize fall hazards, select appropriate fall protection systems, conduct equipment inspections, and apply OSHA requirements to elevated work activities. Students leave with knowledge they can apply immediately to reduce fall hazards, improve workplace safety, and support their organization's compliance with OSHA fall protection standards. Every Gilco Fall Protection course is instructed by an OSHA Authorized Instructor credentialed through the University of Texas at Arlington.
